Learn an Ancient Frame-Drum: The Rhythm of Ancient Rituals
Υou will have the chance to hear and play an ancient Greek frame-drum, called tympanon, and try to sync with the rhythm of ancient worshiping rituals. How are we going to do that?
First, we will take a closer look at typical Greek rhythms and play all together in order to realize how cool is the feeling of participating in a music band. What’s more, we will have the chance to experiment with different percussions and realize that music is for everyone and not only for the musicians!
A unique (and truly one-of-a-kind) experience that is offered only by SEIKILO Cultural Space!
What will be Provided?
An ancient Greek tympanon will be provided to each of the participants during this experience. These frame-drums are handcrafted by the world-renowned niche brand Luthieros.
Who can Participate in this Experience?
No need to be a musician or have any kind of former musical education. In case you are a professional musician, this experience can be tailored to your level of knowledge, just let us know in advance!
